He pursued his undergraduate studies at Washington & Lee University in Virginia, followed by a medical degree from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. There, he notably served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and earned the Chancellor’s Award at graduation. His residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

Dr. Ryan T. Boone, a distinguished figure in otolaryngology, has his roots in Baton Rouge, being a graduate of Episcopal High School. He advanced his education at Washington & Lee University, Virginia, for his undergraduate degree, followed by a medical degree from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. During his time there, he led the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as president and was honored with the Chancellor’s Award upon graduation.

Dr. Boone’s medical training culminated with an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. In 2004, he brought his expertise back to Baton Rouge, contributing significantly to private practices, first at ENT Medical Center and later at Louisiana ENT Specialists. His medical interests are broad, encompassing all areas of ENT care, with specific expertise in sinus surgery and the treatment of balance and inner ear issues. His professional excellence is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and he is recognized as a Fellow by both the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
