Dr. Ryan T. Boone Biography
Dr. Ryan T. Boone, a distinguished figure in otolaryngology, has his roots in Baton Rouge, being a graduate of Episcopal High School. He advanced his education at Washington & Lee University, Virginia, for his undergraduate degree, followed by a medical degree from LSU Medical School in Shreveport. During his time there, he led the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as president and was honored with the Chancellor’s Award upon graduation.
Dr. Boone’s medical training culminated with an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. In 2004, he brought his expertise back to Baton Rouge, contributing significantly to private practices, first at ENT Medical Center and later at Louisiana ENT Specialists. His medical interests are broad, encompassing all areas of ENT care, with specific expertise in sinus surgery and the treatment of balance and inner ear issues. His professional excellence is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and he is recognized as a Fellow by both the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
Beyond his medical career, Dr. Boone is a family man, married to Maradith, with whom he has three daughters. They are devoted parishioners of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. In his leisure time, Dr. Boone is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities like bowhunting, gardening, and snow skiing.
