We had our first appointment with Dr. White today. He did testing on our baby’s ECV (ear canal volume) that her previous ENT had never done. Dr. Jimmy White Biography

Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Jimmy White is a board-certified otolaryngologist who returned to his hometown after training at the renowned Mayo Clinic. He specializes in comprehensive ENT care, with advanced expertise in sinus surgery, head and neck cancer, pediatric ENT, robotic surgery, and cochlear implants. Known for his compassionate approach and innovative spirit, Dr. White was the first to bring cochlear implantation and transoral robotic surgery to Lafayette. He actively contributes to medical education as adjunct faculty for the LSU ENT Department and sits on the Lourdes Foundation Board to help extend healthcare access throughout Acadiana. Outside the clinic, he enjoys family life with his wife and four children, coaching youth sports, and giving back to the community that shaped him.

Dr. Jimmy White earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to receive his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he served as class president and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
